Studio Nue was founded by two designers whose distinctly different styles became their greatest joint strength.
After meeting seven years ago while studying interior design, we quickly realised that our perspectives, experience, and design approaches were completely different - yet perfectly complementary.
With a decade between us, we bring both fresh perspective and seasoned intuition to every project. Our contrasting styles allow us to explore ideas from multiple angles, ensuring each space reflects the client’s vision rather than a single aesthetic.

Discovery
Every project begins with understanding. We take the time to learn about our client’s lifestyle, vision, and aspirations for the space. Through conversations, site visits, and research, we explore how the space should function, how it should feel, and the opportunities within the architecture. This stage forms the foundation for everything that follows.

Concept Design
With a clear understanding of the brief, we begin shaping the creative direction of the project. Moodboards, spatial layouts, and material palettes help define the atmosphere, aesthetic language, and overall design concept. This phase explores ideas and possibilities, allowing the vision for the space to take form.

Design Development
Once the concept is approved, the design is refined into a detailed and buildable plan. We develop technical drawings, custom joinery designs, and specifications for materials, finishes, fixtures, and fittings. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure the design can be executed precisely.

Implementation & Installation
In the final stage, the design is brought to life. We work closely with contractors, artisans, and suppliers to oversee the installation and ensure the project is executed as intended. Through careful coordination and attention to detail, the finished space reflects the vision established from the very beginning.
